1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Tabico application ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Tabico is a travel planning application that allows users to create trip itineraries, collaborate with friends, split expenses, discover tours and experiences, and explore places. The Service is provided on iOS and Android platforms.

3. User Accounts

• You must create an account to use the Service. You can sign in using Google or Apple.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account.
• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
• One person may not maintain more than one account.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of content you create on Tabico, including trip data, photos, notes, and messages ("User Content"). By posting User Content, you grant Tabico a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content as necessary to provide the Service.

• You are responsible for the content you post and share.
• Content set to "Public" visibility may be viewed by any Tabico user.
• You must not post content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or otherwise objectionable.

5. Trip Collaboration

• Trip creators ("Admins") can invite members and manage roles (Admin, Editor, Viewer).
• Members must respect the collaborative nature of shared trips.
• Admins may remove members or change roles at their discretion.
• Expense splitting is a convenience feature; Tabico is not responsible for financial disputes between members.

6. Tours and Bookings

• Tour guides are independent parties, not employees or agents of Tabico.
• Tabico facilitates connections between travelers and guides but is not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of tours.
• Booking requests are subject to guide approval.
• Cancellation and refund policies are determined by individual guides.

7. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts
• Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited communications
• Scrape or collect data from the Service without permission
• Upload malicious software or harmful content

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and content (excluding User Content), is owned by Tabico and protected by intellectual property laws. The Tabico name, logo, and branding are trademarks of Tabico.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Tabico does not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

Travel involves inherent risks. Tabico is a planning tool and does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any information displayed within the Service, including but not limited to place information, map data, business hours, pricing, tour availability, travel conditions, or any other data provided by third parties or users.

Information displayed in the Service may be outdated, inaccurate, or incomplete. Users are responsible for independently verifying all information before making travel decisions, bookings, or financial commitments based on data shown in the Service.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tabico and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to:

• Damages resulting from reliance on any information or data provided through the Service
• Financial losses, including those arising from expense splitting disputes or inaccurate cost information
• Losses caused by inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated place information, travel conditions, or schedules
• Personal injury, property damage, or other harm arising from tours, travel, or activities planned or discovered through the Service
• Loss of data, unauthorized access, or service interruptions

You acknowledge that you use the Service at your own risk and that Tabico bears no responsibility for any consequences resulting from decisions made based on information provided through the Service.

11. Account Termination

• You may delete your account at any time through the app settings.
• We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.
• Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by email. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before pursuing other remedies.
